History of Checker

Checker automobiles were manufactured only between 1920 and 1982. Prior to 1959 Checker's production vehicles were built almost exclusively for the taxi business. The Marathon was introduced in 1962, but ours is a 1977 and newly restored. The body style remained essentially the same throughout the entire production period.
